🔒 Key Constraints

• Exclusive write ownership: 04_Build/, PyInstaller spec files, dist/. Do NOT modify files in 05_Test/ or MVP/.

• Standalone single-file Windows executable (.exe) using PyInstaller bundling Python web server, embedded SQLite, HTML5/CSS3/vanilla JS frontend, CTCAE rules, guidance, requiring zero external dependencies on host machine.

• Exclude bloat packages (pandas, numpy, playwright, pytest, torch, PIL, etc.) to keep binary lean (<20 MB).

• Verify standalone executable with python 05_Test/verify_mvp.py --exe.

• Mandatory integrity: No hardcoded test results, no facade implementations, genuine build and verification.

• Document all build commands, output binary size, and programmatic verification results in handoff.md.

Task Summary

• What to build: 04_Build/build_exe.py and 04_Build/HAD Digital.spec to automate single-file packaging of HAD Digital.exe into dist/HAD Digital.exe (and 04_Build/dist/HAD Digital.exe), then verify against 05_Test/verify_mvp.py --exe.

• Success criteria: Automated build script compiles standalone .exe without errors, binary size < 20 MB, all acceptance tests in 05_Test/verify_mvp.py --exe pass cleanly.

• Interface contracts: .agents/orchestrator_1/PROJECT.md, 03_Architecture/API_Contract.md, 03_Architecture/Database_Schema.md.

Key Decisions Made

• Use PyInstaller 6.22.2 to compile MVP/app.py into a single-file executable named HAD Digital.exe.

• Bundle MVP/static -> static, MVP/guidance -> guidance, and MVP/data/ctcae_rules.json -> data.

• Keep writable SQLite database outside _MEIPASS per config_manager.py.

• Exclude bloat packages (pandas, numpy, scipy, matplotlib, torch, pytest, playwright, boto3, botocore, etc.) to keep binary size under 10 MB (9.78 MB).

• Ensure output executable is located at dist/HAD Digital.exe and mirrored to 04_Build/dist/HAD Digital.exe to support both paths.

• Retain stdlib email module in hidden imports as required by http.server.
